Q: Are FlexMed nurses/therapists considered employees or independent contractors?
A: Flex Med is an employee based agency. All appropriate and required taxes are with-held by us. Each employee is covered by workman's compensation and professional liablity.

Q: Who can I contact for clinical situations?
A: As clinical director and CEO, Tag Doss RN will work with your facilitie's management team on any clinical situation that arises. Feel free to bring any questions or concerns to him. There is a staffer on call 24 hours a day to assist you.

Q: What is the hiring process for a Flex Med nurse/therapist?
A: It is important to us to send you a quality,competent and caring nurse to your facility. We utilize online testing for skill checklist, pharmacology testing, JCAHO and OSHA requirements, and unit specific test. We also perform OIG background checks, license verification and drug screens on all employees. This information will be presented in the nurses' profile.

Q: Can Flex Med provide AHA CPR training?
A: Yes. We are an official American Heart Association Training Site able to provide BLS, ACLS, and PALS training to your staff. We are able to on-site and off-site training to meet your needs.
